Travel delays

The Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland erupted on March 20 after last erupting from 1821-1823. It began erupting again on Wednesday and the ash that is coming from the volcano is complicating air travel in much of Europe. Many countries closed their airspace Countries like Romania, Switzerland, Hungary England, Ireland and Poland have closed much or all of their airspace and cancelled flights until Saturday. Northern European countries are expected to reopen airspace as the ash moves south, but this will cause problems for countries to the south. Click on this link to read a complete article about the effect on air (and train) travel that the volcanic ash is having.
