You've probably heard about the Ride Janie Ride fundraiser in which the schools in our district are participating. Our students have done an AMAZING job raising money for this worthy cause. For the last two weeks the students have been going around their neighborhoods, getting permission to stand outside of businesses, talking to people in their churches and making and selling duct tape pens to raise money. I am really proud of the initiative and the drive that the students have displayed in their efforts to raise money. I don't think that anyone imagined that we would raise as much money as we have. Great job you guys!!
