For their last few days of Spanish class the 8th graders are watching the movie Selena. The movie is based on the life of singer, Selena Quintanilla Perez. Selena is known as the Queen of Tejano music. She broke gender and cultural barriers during her career and was a rising star in her early twenties. We'll see what happens in the rest of the movie...Have a great weekend!
