Mexico shuts down

Parts of Mexico have been shut down for five days to try to combat the spread of Swine Flu. Swine Flu is currently blamed for more than 160 deaths in Mexico. While the virus has spread to 14 other countries, the cases in those countries are not as severe as those in Mexico.
While shutting down schools, movie theaters and restaurants may help prevent more spreading of the virus, some are worried that it may have a negative effect on Mexico's economy. Here at Lakeview we're doing what we can to prevent the spread of ALL germs. We talked about washing our hands often and covering our mouths and noses when we cough and sneeze. Hopefully everybody will be able to stay healthy for the last few weeks of the school year!
