This week I read an article about the well-preserved skull of a young girl that was found underwater in Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. The remains are believed to be between 12,000 and 13,000 years old. This girl's remains hold clues about migrations of ancient people's and if they are related to the indigenous peoples of North America. I like to compare findings like these to America's history. America has such a rich, full history, but it is incredibly young compared to the rest of the world since it's only a few hundred years old. Read the full article
